iPhone 3.0
Airsource was very pleased to see the contents (login required) of yesterday’s announcements about the new version of the iPhone SDK. Naturally we will be updating our existing applications to take advantage of the new features.

Optiscan does not work at all under iPhone OS 3.0. It does not scan at all, and whenever I take picture manually, the app just crashes.

Hi AlchemistMuffin - we haven’t checked out iPhone SDK 3.0 in earnest yet - we ran it through the simulator but haven’t flashed an iPhone yet. We found there were some rendering issues with tables but nothing major. We’ll be keeping an eye on iPhone 3.0 but it’s not a major development focus until it settles down a bit - first beta is a bit of a moving target.
If you’d like to email us, we’ll be happy to give you our latest dev build - we’d obviously like to resolve this crash.
